Put it in your purse and reapply after eating. It will last all day.Is there any way to make lipstick last all day?
An alternative to using those all day lipsticks:
Benefit Cosmetics She-laq. A clear sealer that can be used over lipstick. Is there any way to make lipstick last all day?
Maxfactor lipgloss is amazing! It is kind of expensive but I bought it when it was on sale and it works really well. Basically, theres 2 glosses. First, you put on the colored one and wait 30 seconds or so for it to dry. Once that dries it stays on all day, even when you eat! Then you put on the second coat of the clear gloss. This makes it shiny. The second coat wears off sometimes but the color stays on!
lancome makes lipstick that comes with a sealer or top coat. It will last all day - more expensive than most - but worth it.
dont eat ,drink ,talk, touch ur mouth,or move
or u could just reaply when it rubs off
There has to be some kind of lipstick that lasts all day!!!
Yes, what i do is i use Starburst lip gloss, then i put on my lipstick then it lasts almost all day. I use Starburst lip gloss because it is kind of like liquid so the lipstick is more jelly. Try it out!!
Very important question..... Don' kiss anybody.....
You could use an Outlast lip color, those are ment to stay on for 8 hours or more, but sometimes they are stiff and uncomfortable. I always first put a little foundation on my lips before applying lip color. Then a little trick i use is getting a lip liner the same color as the lipstick you're using, and shading in your lips with the lip liner and then applying the lipstick, and then coating it with some clear lip gloss. this way, after the gloss fades, if the lipstick starts to fade you still have the lipliner on! and it'll take a while for all of that to fade away =]
I use Covergirl Outlast. It lasts for me about 8-10 hrs. I love it. But, when u put it on, make sure u get it evenly on your lips . When u dip the wand, scrape off any excess on teh side of teh tube. Then apply it. Let it set for a minute %26amp; then apply moisture topcoat. this stuff really stays on, so if u mess up your lips. u have to totally take off the lipstick %26amp; start over. But, if u apply lipstick all the time, u should have no prob. There are many shades. This is the only lipstick i will ever use. I have been using it for years:)
After applying lipstick, lightly dust with baby powder, or wear a thin coat of vasaline.
Vasaline is my choice.
maybe not all day but longer yes when you apply your foundation apply it over your lips, then apply lipstick same goes for eyeshadow o and on the lips a teeny bit of vaseline to seal it in once the lipstick has been applied - itl look like lip gloss
yeah keep puttin it on lol
put a coat of varnish over it...
depends on the quality of your lipstick. i recomand you to use a lipstick from Avon cause it last 1 day.
YES! ONLY IF YOU DON'T LIPING ON IT!
Ah, an age-old question. Unless there have been dramatic improvements, lipstick sealer will terribly dry out your lips, so stay away! Also, it tastes terrible.
To keep lipstick put, try this method.
While brushing your teeth, gently massage your lips with the brush for an exfoliating effect. Not too much! Be careful, your lips are sensitive!
Next, while applying makeup, gently clear your lips, get rid of all the 'ickies' from chapped lips, all moisture, etc. You should start with smooth, dry lips.
Get some lipliner and find a shade that matches your lips exactly. You can either line or completely color in your lips. Again, finding a liner that matches your lips well is essential- you don't want color, just a base. If you don't want to fill in your lips, just outline and stay inside the lip! Do not try and make your mouth look fuller by coloring 'outside the line'!
Next, apply your lipstick in a smooth, medium coat. Let it stay on your lips for a minute or so, maybe while you do your eyeshadow or whatever.
Take a square on single-ply toilet paper or kleenex and press it up to your lips. Smush your lips onto it, blotting off extra lipstick.
The next part is crucial and the deal-maker. Blot your lips with pressed powder THROUGH the tissue! Get a clean sheet if necessary, tailor this to your needs! You'll get just the right amount of powder ';sealant'; if you apply through the tissue.
Finally, apply a second coat of lipstick as you normally would, again tailoring to your specific look!
It should stay put for a good chunk of the day. If you eat or drink, the top coat will eventually wear down, but that bottom coat will stay put and look great all day! You can even apply a gloss over it or just touch up the lipstick.
It sounds complicated, I know, but it really works and you don't need to spend upwards of $20 for all-day lipstick that dries out your lips and looks terrible later!
Good luck!
there is actually a lipstick sealer, try that, or get the lipstick that doesn't rub off
Avon's new line of lipstick has this feature wherein you just have to press your lips together to ';reapply'; the colour. You can try that.
To make your lipstick last longer, you can put some powder on your lips before applying the actual lipstick. Goodluck!
Try using a lip primer. Mary Kay offers a great one I love it. You can check it out at www.marykay.com/kfrench2006 I don't need to touch up my lipstick unless I eat something that touches my lips a lot or am drinking a lot out of a straw!! I just LOVE it!!
There are all kinds of products you apply before putting your lip stick on, I use Lip Fix by Elizabeth Arden, you can get it at any store. There are dozens out on the market just like it.
